Vane Compressor Packages

Compass Compression features three standard single stage vane package templates for applications of 5 – 100 HP. These standard packages offer a cost-effective, proven and quick delivery solution for most applications.

Rotary vane compressors (vanes) are ideal for vapour recovery applications (sweet or sour) such as high mole weight gas and high inlet temperature.

Vanes operate at a suction pressure range of 0 – 10 psig and discharge pressure range of 20-70 psig (single stage) or 80 – 120 psig (two stage). There's no minimum compression ratio and they can handle ratios up to 6:1 (limited by process discharge temperature).

Vanes have an open loop forced lubrication system, similar to a reciprocating compressor therefore eliminating process discharge dew-point issues inherent in screw packages. They're also maintenance-friendly and worn parts can be easily replaced in the field.
